Elder Soares stopped in!

Hi family and friends,

I have had another wonderful week here in Lartebiokorshie and hope you all love reading this letter.

First of big highlight of the past week. Yesterday we had the amazing opportunity to have a devotional with newly ordained Elder Ulisses Soares. He is in Ghana and early yesterday morning we had the chance to meet with him and Elder Marcus B. Nash of the Africa West area Presidency. It was at the new Ghana MTC and was a cool experience and was probably the last time i will see an Apostle on mission. He taught us how we need to focus more on what our mission president would have us do and he expressed his love that the Quorum of the twelve Apostles send to us. He is a great man and wears the mantle of the Apostle of the Lord with great honor.

We have had a good week with teaching in our area and have had many awesome new investigators. Something funny that happened this week is we went to teach a women named sister Pascalle. She is a less- active women we are teaching. She is really amazing. She has a little boy who is maybe 2 or 3 but whenever we come and he says he always runs around say "Jesus Christ is here!". It is soo funny I will take a picture with him next time we visit them.

This week on Saturday hopefully we will be having a baptism for one of our investigators named Roger who is a Part member family. He is awesome and always has alot of questions for us when we come and wants to know the truth.

On the spiritual side of things. I wanted to share something that I heard from Elder Marcus B. Nash at one of last years Multi-zone conferences he shared with us about the pre-earth life. He shared with us about the Plan of salvation and one thing that has stuck so strong with me. He shared the following- when we were in the pre-earth life and when a savior was needed to be chosen and satan wanted to come and save us and and give himself the glory and Jesus said send me and thy glory be thine forever. Heavenly Father choose Jesus and we jumped and shouted for joy when he was chosen because we knew that he would not fail. We knew that we would be saved because he was the best of the best. He was and is our savior and redeemer. He loves us and gave his life because he loves us. I love this scripture 1 corinthians 15:10. I am what I am and i will not let his grace be in vain.

I love you all. Huge Shout out to my guy Elder Campbell. Man youve worked hard man. Love you. May God bless.
