Merry Christmas From Ghana!
Just pics! Sorry it is late!

The video chat with Elder Paulson yesterday was wonderful, if not a little frustrating! The bush of Africa is not the most reliable place for the internet! First we could not get connected and after half an hour of waiting I just called him. We finally worked it out and was able to chat but on his end the computer sound was so soft we had to yell at him to get him to hear us. Such a great way to communicate with your missionary! NOT! Anyway, we did finally get things to work successfully and we were all able to chat with him without yelling. He even was able to share a message with us and that is always great to hear spiritual wisdom coming from your 19 year old. Makes his mother happy! In spite of the technical difficulties it was the best gift of the day to see his face and hear his voice. He is happy and well, only 7+ months to go and he is going to finish strong.  He asked me to tell you all thank you for your Merry Christmas wishes and prayers in his behalf!

Afehyiaa Pa!

Merry Christmas everyone from Ghana.

I hope my letter finds you well and safe.

So this past four weeks you have only heard from me maybe once or twice and that is because of the internet problem out here, you will be happy to know that 4G wifi is coming to Asunafo after Christmas and emailing will not be a problem for us anymore.

This past couple of weeks lots of things have changed like I am training again and my companions name is Elder Tupou from Tonga and he is awesome! Elder Antwi and I are still together in the same apartment both training. Life is good still here in the bush!

So big new is that Elder Marcus B. Nash of the seventy came and had a mission tour with us. He talked to us about many things, but one thing I learned a lot from him is that we don't just come on mission to baptize others and teach but we come also to learn for ourselves and become truly converted in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

This week we also had a baptism for 2 of the boys we have been teaching named Doku Emmanuel and Richmond Ntow who are both awesome young boys who I have had fun teaching. I will send you guys a picture.

Ok, other than that we have just been doing our work and helping others to come to Christ. This week on Saturday we will be having a Christmas party here, we purchased lots of fun things for the kids here with our Christmas money. So hopefully that will be fun! On Christmas day we will be having a zone activity and roasting a pig! Elder and Sister Dalton will be cooking some American food for us as well and we will enjoy and bond together as a zone! I love you guys so much and appreciate all the support you guys give me.

Be safe and may God bless,

Elder Paulson

No Internet suck! BTW

Well good evening from Ghana friends and family, it has been a long time since I have been able to write you and that is because the internet in the place we usually write is down and out here in the bush they have no internet cafe. Life is good though!

So big news is this past week Elder Antwi and me got a call from our mission President that we will both be training and that we will be splitting the area. So now my new companion from Tonga, his name is Elder Tupou and he is awesome! We are now taking ward 2 of Asunafo. It's a great opportunity to train again. So we are now just working in ward 2 it will be good to get to know all the members better in ward 2. This means I will be staying in this area until April 3rd because in march we will be having a 9 week transfer. So we will see how that goes over.

We have been working hard here in ward 2 and have found 9 new investigators this week. We are hoping to have some baptisms in the month of December.

We are planning on going to the temple with our recent converts soon which is also exciting. The work has been going amazing here as now there are 4 missionaries the work will go much faster and hopefully we can do a lot of baptizing before I leave.

I love you guys. It has been 3 weeks since I have been able to read my emails and I had 50 of them to read.  Also the internet keeps going in and out so it's hard to say how long I will have to write and get this sent to my mom to post.  So, I don't really have a ton of time so I will some how keep it short, but I will be sending pictures! Love you guys!
