Last Transfer!

Hi family and friends,

Another week gone by and seems like they are flying now. Crazy how time goes by.

This week we were blessed with a baptism with two awesome people that we have been teaching. We have had an awesome time with Bro. Israel and Bro. Johnson sharing with them and answering all their questions and they were both so excited to be baptized and join Jesus Christ's church. I have had some amazing experiences shared with them. I'ts amazing how fast people can grow to you so quickly.

So this week we had transfer news and I will be staying to finish my last transfer in Lartebiokorshie, My companion Elder Bangura will be going to Kasoa, Ashtown to be with my former companion Elder Antwi. My new companion will be Elder Ofozie. He will be my final companion which is crazy to think about but life is all good here in Ghana Lartebiokorshie.

We will be having some more baptisms coming up in July hopefully.

We have been visiting a lot of members this past week trying to build relationships with them. It has been alot of fun being with them and getting to know them more and more. I feel the more I get to know each one of them the more they become like family to me then anything.

I have experienced so many things here that have grown and strengthened my testimony. Seeing how the gospel can bless so many peoples lives who have very little but rely so much on God. It's a very humbling experience and I have been so grateful to experience it.

I love all you people. Thank you for the letters of encouragement and love. May God bless.

Crazy how time flies!

Hi family and friends,

I hope that all of you are safe and this letter finds you happy.

This week has been a good week for my companion and I.

So Tuesday I got super sick and was having pretty bad stomach problems so that was not to fun.

Wednesday I was feeling a lot better so we went to district meeting and then to Kasoa to get measured for our suits, my companion and I, so that kind of took all our day.

Thursday through Saturday were normal proselyting days. Our investigators Israel and Bro Johnson are doing really well and both progressing towards baptism this week so hopefully that comes through. Life is really good and I'm really loving the people and place still.

I was just thinking this week how fast time goes by and how it seems like I was just getting past one year yesterday and now I'm coming up on my last 6 weeks. Just comes to show,  take every moment in and live so you have no regrets in things that you do. I have loved my mission and have come to learn so many things and I'm not the person I was when I left. I know this is God's church and that he really does speak to us. I can't describe how thankful i am for all the things I have learned here. I love you all.

God bless and be safe.

Another Week Down!

Hi every body and greetings from Ghana. Happy Birthday to My momma and my brother. Love you guys both so much.

This letter will be short and sweet because the power went out and I don't have much time.

This week we had a good week with finding and doing the Lord's work. We are preparing to have three baptizims on the 23rd of this month with some awesome people the Lord has blessed us with. I'm excited about that and the teachings we are having with them.

This past week we had our Multi zone conference and I had the opportunity to give a instruction on "change and become." It really helped me to learn more about the Savior and the things he has in store and the way he wants us to become. I learned a lot from a verse in 3rd Nephi chapter 12:48 which says " Therefore I would that ye should be perfect even as I, or your Father who is in heaven is perfect." Possibly the hardest commandment we have been given. Although sometimes life is hard and it seems that we can't go on I know that God gives no commandment that we cannot follow and he loves us so much.

Also last thought is that today we had a zone activity at our chapel and we played games and played pure water dodge ball, the water that is in bags we throw them at each other it is a lot of fun. Then we had a lunch and it is just a good chance to get together and know each other more.

I love all you people and hope you are all safe and may God bless.

Elder Clayton Stopped in!

Hello family and friends,

I hope this letter finds you all safe and well. This week has been another good week for us here. I hope you all enjoy this letter.

First highlight of this week is that Elder Clayton President of the Quorum of the Seventy was here this week for the Lartebiokorshie stake conference and had some awesome things to tell us. He talked a lot about ministering to others and helping people by service.  I really enjoyed hearing of his message.
This week is another week of preparation of the upcoming Multi-zone conference on Wednesday for us. We have to go and order all the food for the conference and also buy the drinks and go and set up the place and just make sure everything is in order for the conference to go successful and it can be a little stressful but it's all fun.

This week we have been having some awesome lessons with our investigator Israel, he is doing amazing and is really prepared by the Lord. He came with us to the conference and asked a lot of good questions while we were there.

We have also been blessed to find a new investigator this week named Johnson and he is also awesome. He is like 60 and was living in Nigeria for 38 years and he said that all the churches he has gone to he does not feel like they are true. He saw us and said he just felt like he should talk to us, so he stopped us and we have met with him twice this week and he is really doing well. He also attended the conference with us.

This week Wednesday I have also been asked to instruct for the conference on change and how we can become like the Savior and that has made me to reflect and look at the way I have been blessed to change on my mission and do his work here and have had the chance to serve his children. I think I have shared this before but I love the example of Paul for this. One of the people who persecuted the Savior the most and then became one of the most devoted people to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ. He is my favorite example of changing and becoming like the Savior.

It's crazy all my friends are heading home. Congrats Ethan. SHOUT OUT to E for finishing up strong and heading back home. Love you man. See you soon.

Love you all and will talk to you next week. Be safe and may God bless.
