Conference Week/Easter Week

Hi family and friends i hope you have all had a good week and that this letter finds you all safe and happy.

In Ghana here we have had a good week with the work of the Lord. We found 2 new investigators that are awesome and I'm excited about their progress.

One awesome thing I'm excited about is that Frank came to CHURCH! He just showed up and he stayed for the whole time and he asked good questions and he said he liked it. Also a less-active for like 5 years now came to church and he brought a friend.  So exciting.

This week is transfer news and I will probably be going from my current area so yesterday I bore my testimony and it was sad to know that some of these people I will never see again. I have grown also to love these people very much!

Not alot happened this week. I received a question that how do we get water here in our village? Well we probably have the nicest house here in Asunafo and they have a piping system that runs to a poly tank in the back and then it is piped into our house through a nice pump that the mission has purchased. All though when the power goes out the pump does not run so we do have to fetch water from the tank. I love the questions. This town is the farthest place in our mission north which is awesome.

Well everybody I love all of you. Be safe and May God bless. Happy Easter and Enjoy General Conference.

I know the Church is True!

Hi family and friends,

We have had another good week here in Asunafo. I hope this letter finds you all well.

This week has been an awesome week for Elder Tupou and I. We have had a successful week with finding new investigators.

We have this awesome couple we are teaching named Frank and Bernice. Frank is a moto driver here and has really become one of my good friends. He has a lot of potential. He is an awesome guy and she is also awesome.

We have had a fun week going out and working with our ward missionaries as well. There is 2 of them and they are both preparing to go on missions.

It has rained every day this week and every night. Its niceeee!

Also another funny thing that happened this week was on Friday Abomosu Elders had a baptism and there Bishopric was traveling to Accra for a meeting with Elder Vinson, so they called Mission President and with the permission from their Bishop, mission President can allow the Zone leaders to preside at the baptism and if they can't then they can have the District leader to preside, so for the first time and it was strange, I got to preside at a baptism service. Cool experience!

Spiritually I have been studying more of the life of Jesus Christ and how much he was an example to us and how he blessed the lives of the people who listened to him, I thought about how much he blesses us because we cannot see him but we still have faith and believe that he is there watching over us, He suffered so that we can live with him and our Father in Heaven again. I have loved to study about his life. I know that He loves all of us.

Well peeps love you all. Be safe and may God bless.

Dear Family and Friends,

The week was still good and busy.I and Elder Reid taught many people,we preparing 7 of our investigators for baptism on the 25th of March and they are really progressing. We also had 11 at Sacrament meeting and it was amazing! but the time is running very fast I will be leaving Asunafo in some weeks and I am going to miss the people but I know the Lord need me in a different area.

It seems that everything is working out well for me now on mission and I will say YES! some times I and Elder Reid face some challenges but looking unto the Savior has make me very strong. This transfer I chose one Christlike attribute that I am working on it and it is Love.We all know that the second greatest commandment is love thy neighbor as thyself. The Savior show us the greatest love to all mankind that he paid for our sins.Mormon taught us that we need to pray unto the Father with all the energy of heart that we may be filled with His love, following Mormon counsel has help me very well.Teaching and serving others has help to love them and the work has been joy for me.Following the Savior example is a privilege for each and every one because we chose to follow Him in heaven let all try and show love to others and the Lord will also bless us.

Love you all,
Elder Antwi

Multi Zone Week!

Dear Family and friends,

This week was the week of multi zone conference and it was great to be able to hear from president and listen to his counsel that he has so we can be better missionaries.

He taught us how we can always have the spirit to be with us and reminded us that the spirit is the best teacher.  The Spirit knows how to teach each one of us personally. He can help us to over come doubt and fears that we might be having. He is with us as we keep the commandments.

Elder Tupou and I have had a lot of success this week finding new investigators and are excited to be teaching them. We have three weeks left in the transfer and then I will be getting transferred to my final area. I have enjoyed Asunfo very much! .

This week i have also been studying and I am coming to finish the Bible hopefully this week. I'm so grateful I have taken the time to read it and to grow closer to my Father in Heaven by reading about his Son, Jesus Christ.

Mission and time is going fast. I love all you people stay safe and may God bless.

Dear Family and Friends,

The week was busy and went by fast. We were kept busy teaching many people. On Thursday we went to Multi-Zone in Accra. President Simpson gave us great instruction on how the Holy Ghost is the greatest senior companion we will ever have. He taught us that we must be worthy of his companionship, we have to pray for it and pray that we will be ale to hear its promptings. Many of our investigators came to sacrament, it was especially good to see a older couple, Sis Christiana and Bro Bednard. We had the opportunity to push an elderly member in her wheel chair to sacrament meeting. She is 97 years old, she has a very strong testimony after being a member for many years, and told us that nothing will stop her from coming to church. And told us we should keep helping others. I pondered what she told me, and I know that doing good is a pleasure. King Benjamin said when we are in the service of others we are in the service of God. Elder Eyring said we should listen to the Spirit and it will tell us to do good. On my mission serving others, doing good has been a blessing. So let us all continue to strive to do good for others.

Love you all and Thank you for all your service for me.Hear from you all next week.

Another Week in the Books!

Hi family and friends,

Another week down and that is weird. This week has been a good week!  My companion and I worked this week and we had great success.

Our big highlight of the week is we had 2 more baptisms back to back which is always awesome to have. We are preparing and working towards some others in our teaching pool to be baptized soon.

I had a request to talk about my area and some of the people I have come to love here in Asunafo. Well Asunafo is a small town near a town called Abomosu. If you did not know how to get there you would totally miss it. You have to take a dirt road to get into it and once you get there you could drive through the whole town in 5 minutes. The town is very small.

We live on the outside of the town near the chapel which is nice. It's quiet where we live..

Some of the people I have met here are amazing. One of my favorite families are the Deho family. I will get a picture with them this week. They are truly amazing and kind. Another family is our ward mission leaders family. I have grown to love them. Sitting here thinking about it actually I love everybody here and have grown close to the people I have come to meet. It will be hard to leave here.

Elder Tupou and I have also grown closer these past weeks and I have come to look at him as a brother. He watches out for me and is always very close to the spirit and he gives great hair cuts! I think that on mission you come to meet these people who will shape you to be the person God intended for you to become.

I will most likely be leaving this area on April 3rd to go who knows where. I am excited but also sad to be leaving.

I love all you people. I know that our Heavenly Father loves all of us. May God bless.
